The Yam' Divvy XJ600S I did up for a mate passed its MOT...

... and I'm chuffed to monkeys :!: <pats self on back>

The engine still rattles a bit (think its a combo of cam-chain tensioners & a bit of clutch rattle, it shuts up when the clutch is depressed :!:) but hey, it was under 12 feet of water in the Helmsley floods, now it runs OK & its passed its MOT

"I thank you" :takeabow:

I get the same kind of buzz from building an engine from a box of bits, good isn't it

Cheers Mark.

yep, tell him to get the brake fluid changed as well, as it's hygrowscpoic.
it might have absorbed some water in somewhere.

Well done though sir,
now give it back to him and get your own bike back...

T'was all sorted when I serviced the brakes fully (& knackered the rear caliper by snapping the bleed screws off in situ )
