untaxed cars reporting !

Am I just a meanie, for reporting 2 untaxed cars in my cul de sac :?:

one has sat there since Xmas and is taking up valuable parking spaces.

i have mentioned it to the owners partime girlfriend, who lives here ( the owner does not).

and another one that has appeared in the last 2 weeks (seems to belong to a family of 3 that have moved into the rented house in the cul de sac) who have 2 other cars also

So am I just a meanie for using the online tax evasion reporting function :?:

Discuss :!:

Well done mate.

Chances are that as a biker, you will have a car too and so pay your tax twice. Why should we pay for others as well. I shopped one via the online reporting facility just on Monday. It was a fancy peugeot from a three car household in a "well to do" area. The disc expired 12/05!

Another in the same street got the same treatment about six months ago and the police came around and supervised it's removal from the road and into the garage. Almost certainly fined since this bugger had the brass neck to display a BLACK & WHITE photocopy from his brothers car. It wasn't even very well cut out!

Not me.Tempting as it may be I am very resistant to the "shop thy neighbour"culture.I've not led a blameless life and I tend to think "let he who is without sin------"
