Replacing the Front Brake Light Switch
My front brake light switch has been dodgy for a while. When we got to my parents house yesterday e.d. asked me if I was using my brakes at all.
Seems like the switch has packed up. I had a look in the haynes manual and it seems easy enough to swap out. Undo electrical connectors and then undo a screw and slide out and then replace. Bearing in mind I'm not the most mechnically minded person. Is it as simple as that or are there any tips or tricks I need to be aware of Cheers Fizz |
Its as easy as that mate. If you have the Haynes, then just remember, refitting is the revers.....

OK it really was that easy.
I think my probably was being caused by crud on the contacts of the switch as they were really dirty. I fitted the new switch anyway and all is well now |
