Replacing the Front Brake Light Switch

My front brake light switch has been dodgy for a while. When we got to my parents house yesterday e.d. asked me if I was using my brakes at all.

Seems like the switch has packed up. I had a look in the haynes manual and it seems easy enough to swap out.

Undo electrical connectors and then undo a screw and slide out and then replace.

Bearing in mind I'm not the most mechnically minded person. Is it as simple as that or are there any tips or tricks I need to be aware of

Cheers

Fizz

Its as easy as that mate. If you have the Haynes, then just remember, refitting is the revers.....

OK it really was that easy.

I think my probably was being caused by crud on the contacts of the switch as they were really dirty.

I fitted the new switch anyway and all is well now
