If i take the generator cover of to inspected the generator, will i need a drip try to catch any oil?

Eh... Maybe. You will need a new o-ring. If you put it on a stand I think not, but tbh I can't remember if I changed the oil at the same time as I did it last.

Yes a gasket will be needed as the old one is highly likely to come off in bits. If I remember correctly, no oil came out when I took off mine.

also whats the stock setting for the clip on the jet needle (in the carb) i cant remember :?
