wind will have got under the cover and toppled the bike probably, wouldnt be the first, second, or tenth time id heard of it...

There'd be a mighty lots of wind to push over a curvey SV based on the lean angle whilst on the side stand, even with a cover. I'm in Florida, hurricane capital of the world and never has the wind toppled my SV with cover on it.

But did you leave her in Neutral or in gear while parked??? Could have been pushed or nudged foward if in neutral and then BAM!!!

unless the road had a slant in it which would reduce the angle drastically when on its stand...

Last year we had a freak wind blow though our office car park. It took quite a few bikes down, so yes it is possible.

That sounds like a Micro Burst (mini straight line tornado) if you were having bad weather but that takes down trees and sheds too. And those you can't sleep thru when they hit.

Wind is possible yes but not likely 98% of the time.

The SV fizz had as a loan bike when his was in for a service got blown over in the wind. It was definatly the wind cos some one on a fag break out in his works car park where it was parked, saw it fall.

If it's a wind problem that you have, maybe you need to compare notes with Scoobs! :P
