Best Bike Cleaning Products
Hi
I am after some cleaning advise. Had my SV650 for nearly two weeks now and it's getting dirty. I used my pressure washer on it this evening. It didn't touch the muck on the rear wheel. My DAS trainer told me he used a cleaning product you just spray on and then rinse off which leaves the bike sparkling. This sounds too good to be true. He didn't tell me what it is called though. What are the best cleaning products and the best way to clean the rear wheel? Is Muc-Off any good? Many thanks Tim |
Muck off is OK but expensive. Hein Gericke do their own brand stuff. Just as good but cheaper.
Use in conjunction with: WD40 Parafin Mr Sheen Autosol |
I clean everything with WD40 (except the brakes obviously) great stuff, especially for doing the wheels, very rarely wash the bike but when i do i use muc off. We bought 5 litres for about £12 in halfords when there was a deal so it didn't work out to expensive.

I think I'll invest in some Muc-Off and WD 40 then. Tim |
I use degreasant on the back wheel which works a treat, oh, and a scrubber...
Now now...steady y'all!! :D |
