Do you mean your tank stand :?:

Long bar with a slight kink in it...

furrybean 24-03-06 08:04 PM

Thats the badger!! Whats a tank stand then  I'm a numpty when it comes to mechanical.

When you undo the bolts that holds your tank down, you can prop the tank up using the 'tank stand' to give you access to the air box; the bent bit goes into one of the holes left by the bolt on the frame & the other end goes into one of the holes in the tank ;)

Big black plastic thing under the tank is the air box ;)

Ahhhhh thanks alot!

ARRRRGHHH! Noooooooo! Use the stem nut hole, that way you won't damage the threads in the frame. A rather expensive bit to replace should the worst happen (ie, damage 'em both)

I know your now a mechanical genius Clive, But I think you need a refresher course as obviously you had not been paying attention to the manual reading lesson.

What ever happened to the BASAT compliance requirement on this forum.
