STOP PRESS! COUNTRY COUSINS THROWN OUT OF LONDON
Methinks I can hear the death knell for Soho
PC Plod quite blatantly and cheerfully told us to get out, or let him bring in a traffic warden to book us (me, my lad and Howard) When I asked if he was moving the car from the doubles opposite us, he grinned and said, "no its just bikers we're prejudiced against" You (as in ALL bikers) have caused so much mayhem with your tyre burning antics that we WILL get rid of you once and for all :? Glad that we had arrived early (1700) after a bit of sightseeing. At least we had finished our drinks before he moved in. |
Oh I wish I'd been there. Should have taken a picture, and together with a few witnesses made an official complaint.
It's not the end, we'll just have to get there later  . . |
He (:plod:) was perfectly polite about the whole thing and, bottom line ... you're not allowed to park there!
It's a shame really 'cos the place always had a good atmosphere etc ('til the numpties started turning up). Think I'll just stick with the Ace. It has the space, the facilities and plenty of w*nkers to keep you amused. If things get out of hand, The Ace will stop the idiots. They have a close relationship with the feds and the last thing they'll want is to get shut down. Maybe see you there ... 8) |
!...
That is a surprising comment! |
what is?
|
 Just park round the corner in Soho Square, until the Gestapo have bu**ered off :D
