Why cant dogs understand British Summertime!!!!
:? Its bad enough that every year the government f**k about with the clocks, but when they go forward my dog never seems to realise :?
So this morning i was woken by the dog after just 5 hrs sleep and he refused to listen when i told him the clocks had changed  It doesn't seem to happen the other way round in winter though. Is it that my dog is stupid or just another government ploy to knacker us quicker so we can't claim our pension.  Chog 8) |
OK confused. IF your dog does not understand that the clocks have gone forward, surely you got a lie in. as in if he normally wakes at 8 then it is now 9 when he wakes
I had the reverse problem with a joiner I was using, said see you at 9 tomorrow and he forgot they went back that night and he was knocking on my door at 8 |
Exactly the same here.I was woken at some unearthly hour first by one dog that wanted breakfast and then by another that wanted a walk.

Or 4 year old Boys who were told not to come in mummy & daddys bedroom as It's mothersday and she ( I  ) would like a lie-in....

Y'see, this is another reason why my dog is the coolest ever, he understands the luxury of a lay-in at weekends.
He'll just wander up and take a good close look at you, if you eyes are shut he'll curl back up for some extra sleep of his own. OK, if you open your eyes he pins you down with a foot on you chest and his puny 10kg of bodyweight and lean in reeaaal close - like his nose a millimetre away from yours... ... he stays there staring into your eyes for what feels like ages... ... BUT, if you don't make a sound, he assumes you are sleeping with your eyes open and then curls up and goes back to sleep himself. If you make some kind of incoherant grunting, he stares at you even more intently, but you can sometimes get away with it - but if you actually say something he then leaps all over the bed like a deranged bouncy tigger cos he now knows you are awake and that's it. Get up, feed him, let him out into the garden and then say "Right, I'm back off to bed" and he's up there before me, curled up and waiting. Looking expectant as if to say "Come on, I haven't got all day to get extra sleep in you know!" Which is a lie, he has. My dog rocks. |

They don't give a monkeys what the time is. Either let em out when the want or go to the doc later for the cuts to be sorted. Then B&Q to fix the house. Or maybe thats just Fred my cat. :? |
