pwerbronze lowers, difficult to fit

just bought myself a powerbronze set of lowers for my 2002 sv, took my time spraying them to a good finish, today i go to fit them, and for a start the instructions i got wit hthem are very basic. as for diagrams i think a child doodled them on their etch-a-sketch. but once i figured how the brackets went onto the bike i found the holes were not lining up like they should be :x . so out of 3 parts of the brackets i got, 3 of them needed a reshaping with my mash hammer. i finally got them on and it looks nice but what a mess around bending the brackets into shape like this.
i as just wondering if ayone else has stories about powerbronze fixtures and fittings.

also guys when tightning 1 of my engine casing bolts i accidentally turned it 1 to many times and the head snapped. any suggestions on what to do or shall i just glue the head on over the hole and forget about it?

I voted no because I have never had any trouble fitting one. I have never fitted any but my mate has. Not to an SV mind, but said it was easy.

I know from reading other post that Powerbronze stuff seems to be cheaper than others for a good reason :?

i hav'nt had trouble fitting there stuff but i have had trouble with the quality of it,
very flimsy stuff it does move around alot whilst trying to line everything up.

Are the fitting brackets really necessary?

Hmm, hang on. I think I may have fitting brackets after all. I won the lowers on Ebay with brackets already on them. I was thinking that maybe there were other brackets to fit to the bike too, but what is on the lowers must be the actual brackets themselves.

I think...
