fuel leaking out gas cap
 

Recently fuel has been leaking out of my year 2000 Sv650's gas cap. I notice gas under my tank bag after filling up and I dropped my bike on some ice the other day and fuel ran out of the gas cap. Anyone had similiar problem and know what is going on? It is not the seal under the cap nor the spring tensioner for the seal.

A seal will have gone mate, have a look at the rubber underneath the cap and see if it's split.
