Scorpion Customer Service - Is very good

Anyone had any good / bad / indifferent experience with Scorpion?

I bought a titanium oval can at the NEC last year, and just got round to fitting it today

It turns out I've been supplied with the wrong fitting kit.

Now, this wouldn't be so much of a problem if i had realised this before I cut the pipe and removed the stock can. But, me being the 'leap before you look' kind of person that I am, i have already done so and only realised the problem when it came to fitting the hanger.

To make matters worse, i can't even re-fit the stock can using the link pipe because I've also got the wrong size band clips to secure it - one of them is too small - so now my SV is off the road until I can sort this problem.

I tried ringing Scorpion today but i guess they're closed until Monday cos no-one's answering the phone.

EDIT: Phoned them today (Monday) and they were extremely helpful. They said I could return the fitting kit and they would post a new one straightaway. BUT, they won't actually have to, cos it turns out it was me being an idiot all along! #-o With a bit of guidance from a very helpful bloke called Brian, my shiny new can is fitted perfectly, so thank you Brian at Scorpion Exhausts :notworthy: and as for me...

If you dont manage to get one from scorpion then most of the major exahust companies will sell you a link pipe for the new can from anywhere between £25 - £85quid for a low level one.

If you need one to get you out of trouble I think I have a spare one for the pointys in my garage.

Cheers Dan. Oddly enough, the link pipe itself fits perfectly, it's just the hanger & band clips that's wrong, and I wouldn't feel to happy about riding around with a can that's wobbling about. Thanks for the offer though

what's wrong with it - it will be a bit tight, so if it looks like it 'almost' fits, then it probably does. Just squeeze & wiggle :D I've just fitted 2 to mine with no probs

I've just tried to fit a new carbon fibre hugger to mine, only to discover the section that replaces the chain guard is about 3.5" too short, so there is nowhere to put the bolt

If you have got the genuine wrong fitting kit, then I'm sure Scorpion will change it without too much trouble

Costomer service directly with Scorpion I found to be not good, needed a link pipe a while back & as I only live a few miles away from the factory thought I'd have a ride over but got the impression they didn't want to know, managed to badger them into selling me one after about a week though.
