Changing my bike
After 2 years of good service from my SV (apart from a crash!, well it wasn't the bikes fault!!) I've decided to have a go with a four.... Oohh. So I'm going to go for a GSXR-750. My friends got one which I've ridden many times and it handles like a dream.
I was wondering if people had made similar bike changes and what they thought? Also does anyone know of forums for gixers where they might be for sale? Cheers G |
I think it's a great choice :!: Wish I could afford one. I'd still like to keep my SV as my second bike though

Mate, let me tell you what you get as a package in a GSXR750...
You get that ultimate sports feel, you have to race everything (including yourself), the induction is almost orgasmic, and the handling is sublime. It feels like a 600 woth the power (or almost) of my RR3 'Blade, and with a decent can you just want to make howl.... If you are willing to put up with the riding position, the bike is so rewarding, in fact, it's the ultimate 600 Supersport  If you like sports bikes, you'll love it... Personally, if I could handle the riding position (I have a back problem) I'd have one. Go get one, you know it makes sense, but it will bring out the hooligan in you 8) . |
I went to a K2 GSXR 600 after a year and really would like a 750 now - I think its a great choice

im going for a 750 gixxer this year, keeping the sv thou :D
|
Yeah I see MCN were ranting on about it.
Probably would be my next bike though as it makes more sense in the real world than a thou. Gotta get used to an SS600 first though so expect I will change up 2 years from now when my warranty runs out. |
I have my eye on a gsxr750, so would be interested to hear your thoughts if you do make the change!

:hackedoff: lucky git,I am skint so sv will have to stay
