Anyone going?
It starts this coming Wedenesday and is a weekly event.
They usually do a BBQ too.
Fantastic roads surrounding the area too :thumbsup:

I certainly won't be going anytime soon, but maybe over the summer. Will have to see if I get the job I'm after.

I often ride to the Red Lion in Avebury. It is a beautiful place, in terms of
the countryside and neolithic stones as well as the bikes you see in the car park.

However, I've never had food there. BTW, just found this:

Not really surprised that people complain. I always got the impression that the
Red Lion is understaffed and service is poor.

I took the mother in law and nan in law there for mothers day :reaper: and gotta say the food was bloody fantastic, homemade steak n ale pie was delicious....yes the service was a bit on the slow side...but then half of wiltshire and a few druids were all harbouring inside from the weather, that said though i have heard mixed reviews about the food.

I for one will be venturing up there for a shandy n a burger :D

i may pop up there, just round the corner from work :wink:

I may do after work finish at 5 so could see if anyone else from Bristol fancied a jolly out?

What time are people going to get there?????
