-98
Will a bike from -98 with 17k on the clock still hold value?
I saw a rather nicely priced bike, but it was from 98 and had 17k on the clock, and i wonder if you get anything back selling it (taken you don't get hit my some t@sser  on your way to work) after a few years. Im talking about a vtr 1000 I really wanted an sv1000s but can't afford one, but i like the old v-twin. So a vtr would be the next best thing i though (need the sporty looking, can't do naked). Would it be worth getting one or are they cheap for a reason? |
Yes. I'd probably get more for my 97 gsxr600 than i paid for it.
Paid £2100 for it when the book price was £2500. Added hugger, braided lines, K&N and dynojet. Should get at least what i paid back on it when i sell this summer with 16k extra on the clock. |
Thats what i wanted to hear!
So if my bike won't come out nicely it's gone, and im getting another one. Cheers! |
As long as you buy at the right price the bike won't have any further to fall in price.
