SV 04 vs 05
First of all Hi there.. new to the site just discovered it trying to get some info on sv's seems really good.
I've just sold my car :) and i have my heart set on buying a SV. Basically its down to being poor for a while and getting a 05 model or buying a 04 and not being horrendously poor. I read the review of the 05 one earlier last year and it was really good. Thought you lot would would be the best people to ask.......Is there a massive difference between the 04 and the 05 or am i still getting a great bike with the 04 one. Any help appreciated. Cheers |
Welcome to the forum. :)
I bought an K4 04 one which i got for £2950 last september. Fully faired and with a seat cowl all blue, approx 3000 miles on it and have been told that it was a real bargain. Its a minter the guy that i got it from spent about 4 hours cleaning it after every ride, dry miles except being caught in the rain for, he said about 2 miles until he found a bus shelter. I have carried on whith the cleaning of it with no regrets. :D G. |
Hi. The frames are different colours, but that is it I think.

I don't think there is any difference apart from the cosmetics.
So buy the 04 if its cheaper than the 05 because its the same machine. Suzuki are doing good deals at the mo...so don't discount a new machine either. |
Midget, where do you live?
Cupar motorcycles in Cupar, Fife, are doing BRAND NEW 2006 SV650 faired & unfaired for £3995. I buy my bikes here & have no qualms about the 180mile round trip for servicing. They have been (independently) voted the best dealership 3 out of the last 4 years North of the border. That is in RIDE magazine. http://www.cupar.co.uk HTH & welcome to the fold. 8) |
