JHS sell preload adjuster caps. About £40-ish?

You can fit adjusters if you'd like to spend money, decide how much preload you want and fit some spacers to suit, very cheap and not an adjustment that will need changing once set right.

You can also fit K2 fork caps you should get some from a breaker cheep enough!!!!

Sorry forgot to say you need to cut down your spacers to allow for the ajusters!!!

I did the same, changed the fork springs too for my 01 plate.

Money to burn, I made the same mistake. New ohlin springs and added adjusters. Once sag set up for me, I have never touched them.

I should have simply dropped in a bit of tube to add preload and saved myself £50. I won't get a penny back when I sell the thing.

Pillions ok I can understand the need to add preload.

But WTF I got a bike to get away from the missus, hence rear seat cowl etc. Not take her with me.
