Garage recommendations?
 

Dear SV'ers

Can anyone recommend a good (ie reliable, thorough, honest, reasonably priced) garage in the Solent (Southampton, Portsmouth, Winchester) region?

I would like to have my new SV looked at as it hasn't been ridden for 6 month by the previous owner and it's "surging" a bit while cruising. I haven't the tools or skills to check it out myself :(

Might seem like a daft question, but if it's been stood for 6 months have you tried fresh fuel?

Not a daft question at all... daft of me not to try that first (doh!)

... even so I would still like to have a recommendation on a garage/dealer.

Living in Gosport, the closest one I know about is Trevor Pope Motorcycles. Any feedback on them? PM me if you'd rather not reply to the forum.

Crescent Suzuki west of Soton in Verwood are good.

Dont use Rob Wilshers though in Hamble they are C$@p.

Crescent are good, but not cheap.
I've not heard a great deal about Trevor Pope, but my riding school used them and were happy enough.

Avoid Bikers of North Baddesley. I've heard good things about Trevor Pope.
