in case you prefer, there's a relay for LED indicators here

http://www.ultraleds.co.uk/product_i...a82cc3271e97eb

though I'm not sure whether it's a direct replacement for the SV one, someone else will advise.

ok, on the resistor, you have a square with 2 bits of metal sticking out each side.
you have a pin sticking out each end.

splice the wires going to the indicators, you need to soldier both the negatives to one pin, and both the posotives to the other pin.

thats how i did mine anyway though.

complete pain in the ass, dunno why they dont supply the indies with resistors built in.

dont bother with the resistors and let em flash fast is what i say, gets you noticed more. , , and just find a friendly MOT tester :)

I wouldnt if it was me I'd solder the resistors in. It isnt much work to do. I would think that with your indicators flashing like billy o you might also attract the attention of the boys in blue should they be in pedant mode.

Also then theres no mucking about come MOT time. Also if you sell your SV it might put a potential buyer off.

All this resistor malarky is why i bought Motrax mini indicators with normal bulbs in rather than LED ones
