My favorite mod just now...

Is my horrible luggage rack. I got a damaged pillion seat, stripped off the foam, and used it along with a Renntec rack to carry around wheels etc... But it's not so good for larger items, boxes and the like. So I bolted a couple of wooden slats across it, drilled holes in the end to take bungee hooks, and now along with the Renntec I can attach anything to my SV ;)

Today I visited Staples and came home with 2 35 litre plastic boxes and 2 18 litre ones. Also 3 bins... Made it just a little hard to get on and off, but otherwise worked a charm. Also had a rucksack with 4 litres of oil and 4 litres of coolant in it.

On the down side, it makes the bike look absolutely ridiculous ;)

No you failed to mention the one other thing your bike must have with all that stuff aft of the shock---The 20lb lead weight stuck i behind ya headlight --to keep the front wheel on the ground

! it really does need photos...

The most I've managed was a hoover... or 2 front pannels and a rear, filtering though London after the Soho Meet.

Nah, wouldn't have done it with anything heavy, the boxes probably weigh a kilo or two total. Hardly any weight behind the wheel either.

Didn't get any pics but I could recreate it in the style of crimewatch ;)
