SCOLARI FOR ENGLAND !

Well, whaddya think?

I'm disappointed, badly wanted an English manager. Someone who could lead the lads in a rousing pre-match changing room rendition of 'Land of Hope and Glory', 'Rule Britannia', and 'Who do you think you are kidding Jurgen Klinsmann'.

Still - at least the man will have a bit of passion about him, unlike Sven-Goran Iceberg.

Bet the Portuguese aren't well pleased - this must do wonders for his ability to focus on getting the best from them in the world cup. Not cricket to approach him at this stage IMO.

Cheers Keith

I think we do better under foreign managers! Sadly enough..

I would think he'd be a good bet for our boys!!

Now, me personally, I support Spurs and Martin Jol has taken them high up the table this year. Don't think we'll get champions league status cos of the gooners :toss: ........

I have to agree with you Keith. We have a lot of good coaches in the UK to offer the job too, why go outside again, have the FA not learnt that this is not a popular move after the Sven saga????

Just what I was thinking. Technical ability may be a bit lacking at the moment but he can get loads of help with that. It's the pride and passion bit that makes the difference for me.

Personally I think you should go all out and try to secure the services of Berti Voggts, he's a great guy and did wonders for our national team

Guy's a tactical genious and master tactician

Go on - you know you want to

Hiddink had my vote but as he ruled himself out of the job by accepting Romans money, I think Phil is the best man left on the list.

I would have liked an English manager for sure, but I would much prefer the best man for the job. The English candidates just arent up to the national post in my opinion. Its not like they have a huge honours list now is it?

My 2p!

Sh*te never realised my pension fund was linked to Englands football performance. Although it would explain why I pay so much in fees for such a little return
