Quiff, you can buy sheets of this from halfords if its what im thinking. lot of guys buy it for infill on grills for cars. about £20.00 squidly a sheet. cut and bend it to any shape you want.

Made by somebody with a few skills. I'd just wrap some mesh round the 'rad. Who's going to see it really?
