I think my speedo is out!
 

I've got a GSXR front end with one of the hall effect sensors running my speedo from four magnets in the brake rotors.

I'm sure my speedo is reading 3/4 of the speed I'm actually doing, e.g. 40 reads as 30, 80 reads as 60 :shock:

With out going through a speed camera at what i think is 30 and waiting for a flash, how can i test the speedo is giving me the right read out?

First i thought i was missing a magnet or one of them had stopped being magnetic but i check and they're all there and working

I used to know what revs to speed i was doing before I down toothed the rear sprocket, help before its 3 points and £60 to late :cry:

Ride with a friend. Get him / her to ride at 40 and see what yours is reading. Crude but effective.

Weird... When I was setting up the Veypor, I asked a traffic car to radar gun me... They were a bit bewildered at first, but happy to help when I explained what it was for.

Well it is out, got my cycle speedo and conected that, tis defonatly showing 3/4 of the speedo im doing :(

Its not picking up one of the magnets. Did you not have a problem with one recently? Did you install it the correct way arround?
