GSXR steering damper on a SV650

Hellow guys (and girls)

Does anyone know if a GSXR steering damper would possible fit on a point SV650S (K3). I have seen second handed steering dampers and they are quite cheap. Maybe with minor adjustements it could fit the original forks of the SV.
Would be interessting, not?

Greetings

ANYTHING, can be made to fit with modification, but sometimes a modifying a cheap spare to fit can worjk out more expensive than a purpose built damper.

Is there any need for a damper on an SV?

It could be done... Wouldn't even neccesarily be especially difficult. SVRash fitted one when he did his GSXR front end, the principles would be the same.
