Anyone got one? Im waiting for the PS3 at the moment but im wondering whether to actually go for the xbox instead. Just wondered what people thought of them

We got one at xmas. Graphics and sound better as you'd expect, but only one really good game so far, call of duty 2 - played online its good fun. However, the servers are often laggy and sometimes it can take 10 minutes to get into a decent game, which itself may only last as long.
In fact, none of the games are as good as Burnout Revenge on the old xbox. Couple that with the fact the hardware is a little frail and very noisey - I'd hang on a while if I was you. saying that, the PS3 release date keeps getting pushed back.

I know a couple of people with them and they seem pretty happy although the games so far have not necessarily had better game play just better graphics. Don't know about the on line stuff though. I'm waiting to see the title line up for PS3 before deciding.

I have always been partial to the Playstation but i just cant make my mind up, there is another writeup HERE where they say there is hardly any difference between them.

I have one that I think I'm going to sell, it doesn't get used much and it would be nice to lose a bit of debt to the parents! It has a hard drive, pgr 3, quake 4, need for speed most wanted, perfect dark zero, 2 wireless pads and a years subscription to xbox live, not activated yet. Don't know what to ask for it, but by all means shoot us a pm if you are interested :)

I've got one, don't use it that much but I think its ace.

I heard that the PS3 is going to be more of a multimedia centre (like a pc).

Oh yea a lot more expensive, I heard around the £400 mark :shock:

Im probably gonna get either the 360 or PS3 but what i'm really waiting for is to see what offerings Nintendo are going to have. I'm hoping for some good use of their one handed controller. Some sword or lightsabre action would suit me nicely! :D

rumour that ps3 will use similar technology on their handset. Theyve decided to redesign the pad after their initial design has been criticised. Might not see much of a change from the ps and ps2 pads

Completed Call of Duty 2 last week and didn't really like the online stuff. Working my way through Ghost Recon now ( old Xbox) and damn it's hard. I'm being chased by a black hawk and at least 3 Mexicans round every corner, all i have is an assault rifle and a dead teammate :shock: .

My mate brought his 'round to my house one evening to show me Tomb Raider...

I want one now.


Edit: I loved ghost recon on the ps2... must be amazing on xbox 360...
