Fitting front mini indicators
I bought some mini arrow indicators a while back with the intention of fitting them but never got around to it.
Before I take the fairing all off, I need to know, do you require spacers as I've seen on other bikes? Quick reply appreciated might do it today while I'm feelin a bit worse for wear... |
Come on peeps one of you must know..
|
I made wee panels to cover over the holes from the inside, cut it to size then fitted it using the standard indicator fitting ring and scrwes. Then drilled a hole in those. Any flexible plastic would do, I used Sony minidisk cases ;) Loads fo ways yuo could do it, but you will have to do something.

For a pointy? Yes I think so.
Top tip, seal the wires in the bolt or they will let in water and rust like mine have. :( |
is it a pointy??.
on my curvy I didnt take the panels off- u can reach in. and just used indy spacers.. one at the front and one at the rear of the hole- they fit flush.. |
Jake, isnt your bike making horrible grinding noises??? Id get that sorted before putting on mini indicators ;)
Same as northy. Made some plastic plates for inside and mount the indicators to that. |
viney yours is a curvy aint it??
the indy spacers- set of four fit perfect !... one is hollowed out and one is plain flat....... |
