Best cup-final seen in years, pity there had to be a loser, played their hearts out

As pointed out to me yesterday, technically we didn't lose the game. Penalties is a lottery as I am sure all England fans will know!

I was lucky enough to go to the game. Was an absolutely fantastic atmosphere and a fantastic game. I had a great seat in the front row towards the corner flag.
Gerrard's goal was amazing and but for him we probably would have won in normal time.

A great day and a great performance and something not predicted at the start of the season!! :D :D :D

Hammers were very unlucky not to win that, great effort.. I expected them to lose with a whimper :lol:

What a day. Great game, great atmosphere, from where I was sat I thought we were the better team and our supporters totally outsang the great unwashed from The North. Nice to see the media giving us a glowing report too. Today I feel gutted as the reality of how close we came sinks in.

Got flashed by a speed camera on the M25 in that 'variable speed limit' section round by Heathrow. Thought they took those down as they weren't deemed 'visible'?? :evil:
