Are you sure its an 03 bike :?: K3 bikes came in Silver, Blu and 'Ginger' (Copper) :!L

I've just gone back through all of the purchase and registration documents and everything I have dates it as a k3 model although the original receipt doesnt have any date (of model) information on it. I bought it in May 03 and to the best of my understanding it wasn't a k2. The dealer was the one who registered it and on the rego doco's it states the make as 03.

How can I check ?

It should say on the sticker on your service book :!: May 03 would make it a 53 reg (I think,) but it isn't a K3 colour (unless you've had it sprayed :?:) :!:

Could it be an import?Did they do a black one for the US or EU markets?Either way it's a nice looking bike.(Apart from it being a pointy of course) :wink:

It's a K3. The rear mudguard is the huge thing that came with K3s and there's no kink in the rear subframe so the tail sits higher. Another clue would be the gear lever is slightly different on the K3, it doesn't fall off like the K4 because of how it's mounted, but that's not clear in the pics.

Could the fact that it's naked be the reason it's a black one from that year?

It's a K3.
