Top box required urgently. SVSK4
 

I haven't posted here in AGES. Anyway life brings me to require a top box + rack if necessary for some courier work. :( I'm happy to buy or if someone has one that could lend? me for 2 weeks would be super.

London area - Anything considered!

Also, if someone is feeling especially like explaining "Top boxes for dummies" - do all the boxes need a rack? I've seen some that sit on the pillion seat, I guess using the grab rail mounts so no need for a rack? I'm a little confused.

You could bungie a top box on the rear seat. I have seen many done like this. You can also buy a pillion seat conversion thingy that enables you to mount it on the pillion seat.

i have a top box you can have if you pick it up. it's a 42 litre Rickman, not a thing of beauty but then we're talking top boxes here.......

no idea about fittings/rack - it came off my old scooter but if you're desparate then it'll do with a bungee cord.
