Jeez Arsenal were unlucky. Lehman had to come out at E'too otherwise it was a goal all night long. The Gunners have been magnificent all the way through the tournament this year and no-one can question their credentials to be in the final.

However for once without any shadow of doubt, the luck, the amazing results came to an end and finally after a long time THE best team in Europe at the moment are now holding the new Champions League trophy. 8)

Very unlucky, a million things you could say.

Even though i cant stand arsenal, i would have loved to see an english team retain the trophy.

Shame really, but you cant go down to 10 men and hope to keep a 1-0 lead against a team like barcelona, they will always score.

Sore losers to the last as usual which was bad to see, blame it on this and blame the referee, he did a good job in my eyes, he could have carded many arsenal players if he didnt acknowledge barca's horrific diving, play acting etc.

Maybe he should have seen eboue's 1st :lol: :lol:

Don't suppose ol' one eye saw Barca lift the trophy did he? :D

I've never been a fan of Lehmann, I think he's a nasty piece of work.

Coming out at Eto'o, fair enough. Try and put the guy off, spoil his aim, but to clearly grab hold of his foot as he's going by? Had to be a red card. It was a deliberate, cynical action.

I though Ljungberg was terrific, and so was Eboue. Henry lost his puff and seemingly the will to win, and seemingly his good sportmanship too after the game.

I wanted Arsenal to win, but it was still a cracking game to watch!

WTF are you talking about if he lost his good sportsmanship??? was he not talking to all the barca players and hugging them like they were his friends... I take it you turned off the TV and missed all that!!!

I'm talking about his comments about the referee....NOT gentlemanly OR sporstman-like.

The ref was crap, Henry got booked for a perfectly fair tackle, he took the ball then the man, and the Barca players got away with murder... B4 u ask I wasn't supporting either team...

Lehmann should have been sent off but if the ref was really thinking he should have yellow carded him and given the goal...

i wouldnt go that fair, the ref made a few dubious decisions, but what can u expect when u see diving all over the show, from both teams.

Its like the boy who cried wolf, who can tell whether a foul is a foul these days
