Petrol station and feet

Topping up the tank i thought about how close my foot was to the hose (i sit on the bike when i top up, so the tank isn't leaning).

I figured that now and then, someone must accidently get their foot or some other part of them selves stuck in the hose while taking off.

Has this ever happened to you?

ive not actually ridden off with my foot in the 'noose' .but ive nearly done it a few times .i try and park the bike a bit further away from the pump so as i dont get caught up in the hose i.e it retracts a bit

Yep, many times. It comes from having short arms so needing to park close to the pumps. That and the fact i'm a clumsy ****

I've got the opposite problem, my legs are too long! Couple this with a big right boot that seems to enjoy being tangled in pump hoses, makes filling up not as dull. Makes me look like a bit of a pr@ though.

thankfully never stacked it though!
