New gear changer lever

Anybody got one for sale or no where I can get one?

Well... managed to drop my SV for the first time. 90 degree left-hand corner, black cab coming toward me on my side of the white line, touched the front brake like a numpty and the front wheel went.

Cabby ****ed off straight away and some nice fella on a Hornet stopped and helped me pick it up.

crash bung took the brunt of it luckily so a few scratches on the front fairing but the gear lever's had it.

I've looked everywhere... ebay etc and did a search here to find one... no joy...

You'll be lucky mste they're a bit like hens teeth they are!
A new one from mr suzuki will set you back about £55
Or demon tweaks used to sell one made by woodcraft or something like that for the same sort of price

If it's only the toe stub bit that has snapped off, it is possible to drill a hole through the end, tap a thread in the hole and screw a bolt into it. Mine has been like this for the past two years. :)

SRAD foot pegs and levers are the same, theres a SRAD one on ebay at the mo
Here's a nice short link instead of that enormous one that was here before which messed up the page layout.

Good advice, it is just the toe stub and I thought it looked like maybe it could be fixed... unfortunately I have none of the tools needed or any access to them... My next house will have to have a garage!

Thanks again for the heads up on ebay svrash.

If you've got all the bits, post it up to me and I'll sort it out... (well, better to send me a pic first to make sure it's doable). Pretty straightforward, done it a few times myself- all you need to do is clean up the end- grinder or hand file- then drill a hole and tap it to M8, and stick a bolt in. Best if you have the original tip, because the rubber slides right over the bolt. I'ev done my current lever twice now, it's a wee bit short but you'd hardly know it wasn't stock.
