custom headlight help!
 

my bike came with a crappy acerbis headlight and it needs to be inspected by the government (theft recovery). I cant afford the OEM suzuki headlight So I want to change it out and mount two smaller headlights. I can make a mount to make anything fit, the problem is that I cant find suitable headlights, they all look cheep and crappy and come colored blue or some other color. I just want two small DOT approved, well made headlights. any suggestions?

I'm looking to do the same thing. I dont think there is a cheap option that will look good (would love to be proved wrong!).

Options I'm toying with are secondhand GSXR K4 / 5 Headlight, or Twin 'bates' lights from Just Bandits - but thats £160!!!

Aren't the Bates lamps usually way less than that?

Another option would be a set of Buell headlights, if that's the look you're going for. if you just buy the lights it's less expensive than you'd think, and no possibiltiy of problems with the DOT tests

5 1/4 Bates are between £38-£50 each, depending on where you get them from.

looked into this as side mounts are a direct replacement for the triples one's which are £80 each.
