Bodywork repair companies

Had a little low-speed spill nearly a year ago now. Bike's nearly good as new, couple of scratches on the exhaust, but the front right corner of the fairing has cracked (vertically near the edge, about 2 inches long) and obviously scraped along the side.

Anyone got any recommendations for companies that would do a good job at a patch-up job? fix crack, sand down, build up, paint match i imagine. there was a place in exter would do it for £135 plus VAT but not down there again for quite a while. Anywhere near Durham would be helpful, or call-out companies.

Ta for any info, will take a piccy when i've got a mo and post it so damage can be seen

Give Porkchop a pm he's from Birtley, just up the road from you, he had a repair done on his bike.

Or try http://www.motorbikepaint.com/ RC Auto`s Services Ltd based in Felling, Gateshead.

Try this stuff:
Plastex
Ten quid and repair it yourself.
Then the paint job should be cheaper as you've dont half the work.

bodywork

i have a sv650s and managed to crack the side fairing next to the headlights ,anyway i phoned round for a second hand one which i found for £30 but it was the wrong colour so i would have needed to get it sprayed and i thought that the colour match would be a bit dodgy - so i went to a dealer and he ordered a new one from suzuki £95 + vat - only took a few days to come and was already sprayed at the factory and had the sv sticker on it ,i have just fitted it and its a perfect match and was very easy to fit as well, just take you chasis no with you and they can be sure of getting the right paint code ,hope this helps
regards paul
