Speeding Tickets

Just wondering if anyone on here has aquired a few speeding tickets on their SV's? I know I am always tempted to speed. In fact I wonder with my acceleration if a cop could really catch up to me if I just gunned it.

Anyway, just would like to hear about some experiences concerning speeding from fellow riders if any.

the answer is almost certainly "yes" they will catch up with you..

If speeding, don't stop. That way you'll have a segment on World's wildest police videos all of your own. To ensure your tape gets used on an episode, force them to wrestle you to the ground when they catch you up.

The acceleration might get you out of there but if they see your plate then you'll probably have an issue at some point if they don't catch up with you shortly later.
As for speeding tickets, yes, I got 3 in one week last year. 2 of them were on one afternoon.

To beat the police you really need to have an fake number plate and be really really quick. Bear in mind that a proper patrol car has a higher top speed than an sv as well.

The punishments for getting cautch from running from the law are huge and really not worth it. If the chopper get on to you its 99.99% all over and even if you avoid going to jail insurance is going to be a nightmare.

Indeed, it's hard to learn from tickets that hadn't arrived by that point.
