Tyre Wear

Got 014's on the SV at the mo but reckon that its going to be tough to get more than 2k out of the rear.

The front is fine and should last a while.

What sort of millage does everyone else get out of sporty tyres?

Really sticky tyres are a waste on a stock sv imho. There is more than enough grip from a sport tourer like a MetzZ6, or a Bridgestone 020 etc. I used to average about 6k to an 020 rear.

I get somewhere around 5k on mid range sporty rears and anything up to 12k on fronts.

edit: though it should be noted, my rear shock is pretty much knackered.
