Insurance again Renewal £100 cheaper than everyone else?
My renewal just came through the post.
£220 TPFTH. (23 year old rider) This is with motorcycle Direct. Now I tried various others & the next best price is £300  I couldn't believe this so I entered my details again on the Motorcycle Direct website aswell & the quote was £330! How is this possible ? Also when I bought my bike & got it insured it cost me £280. I was 21. NCB I now have 1 years NCB How can the prices go up ? I was told they'll go down the older you get :x |
its always worth shopping round, 220 sounds great for your age tho :D

£220 sounds great to me!
I've just had my renewal come through, £605 TPFT I'm 22, with one years No claims bonus, has the SV a year now too, but live in London so insurance seems to be higher than anywhere else. Managed to get it down to £457, but i think that the lowest I'm going to get. |
Like every thing else "Prices only go up" but as you have the written renewal just quote the ref no. and you have it for £220 which is £60 less than 2years ago
Take it as you will have a job to better the £220 quote and if you do it will only be by pennies 23--Serves you right for being a young whippersnapper  Old git  |
You seem to be forgetting that insurance is merely a random number generator, the values you put in merely are used to skew the result.

my insurance renewal this year is 520 fully comp down from 1130 last year 22 and 2 years no claims

Just had a quick quote to see how much mine might be come mid july. Paid £180 last year TPFT which is great for a then 23 year old. Now 24, expected it to be cheaper - Motorcycle Direct wouldnt insure a modified bike online while an unmodded bike was £203! I increase my no claims and it goes up! Insurance prices are ridiculous
