Tax Disc..........

If I ever find the thieving little F***ers that ripped it off my bike last night (Smashing my numberplate into 4 bits in the process of trying to nick that too) i will take great pleasure in castraiting them with a blunt wooden spoon.

Also having talked to a few folks at work, 4 out of 5 of us have had tax discs done in the past week, soooooooo.....

Keep an eye on em.

I carry mine in my wallet with a photocopy on the bike with "THEFT PREVENTION. ORIGINAL WITH OWNER." marked across it.

Never got in trouble with anyone for displaying a false disc - if anything most wardens or coppers who have even noticed have commented that it a good idea (better than having nothing there they said). :?

I know a number of people here scan theirs, print it and put that on the bike - at a glance it's hard to tell the difference.

I had one lost (wife threw it away as it had been on the side for weeks when the bike was garaged over Christmas) - went to the post office to get a replacement but need to send off, with your log book, and £7 - I don't think I'll bother.
