Always Always always......

keep your keys and wallet ina safe place in your bedroom at night,

we were burgled last night and made away with Kittens Keys, handbag & Purse and my wallet ( the one night i dont sleep with it next to my bed), fortuatly my keys with all my keys on it were by my bed and so wernt touched.

thats all they took, in and out the window whilst we were asleep, very disconcerting, but hey, no one was hurt, except im hoping the kitten attacked them/ him

Handbag, keys and kittens purse recovered at the end of the road behind some bins, my wallet is gone

I cannot fault the police, soco, banks and our letting agency, all done and dusted by 11.30 am, top job,

so if you dont, let this be a warning to you, keep your keys in your sigt at all times, especially as insurance companies WILL NOT in most casses pay out if the vehicle is stolen with the keys!

Let our learning be a lesson to you

Cheers
Alex

Thieving barstewards!

Hope you & kitten are ok mate.

Bad News dude, glad your both Ok, could of been worse, a lot worse.

In South Africa people tend to cage themselves in to the bedroom to avoid being killed just for the food in their fridge. :(

I always hide my bike keys at home.

I can't see how an insurance company won't pay for a vehicle taken if the keys were taken in a burglary. Just proves their robbing Bar Stewards too. :?

Attack from both ends

Bummer mate.

Nothing worse than some creep rummaging through your drawers

Seriously hope you are both ok

couldn't agree more - i was burgled 3 or 4 years ago, by sheer fluke had taken my wallet into my bedroom when i turned in.

my housemate's keys were swiped from the kitchen table...her car disappeared half an hour later. :(

Ahh. Bugger. Rotten luck.

In fairness though, no matter what you do, you can't really plan to be robbed. Like, you could spend hours saying if only I..., or what if... and, yeah, it happens. No point beating your self up over it or spending half your life worrying about it. Its something that is horrible, and the scumbags will always get you somehow. If not your keys, its your wallet, or your CD collection, or etc etc, list goes on and on.

And its always ****. Complete ****. (My parents were living in the highlands of Scotland, and they got robbed a few times, and... they sort of became obsessed with it, passing it on to me, the eldest... and its only now I can get the potential for that invasion into my live in perspective.)

I think it is different if they vehicle was stolen using key that were stolen out of you house, I knew a couple of people who had their cars knicked after theifs got into the house and knicked the keys and they had no problem from their insurance company.

Well. At least mine has protective headgear on when he takes the SV out for a spin.
He was after something a bit more butch than a fluffy ducky, but I put my foot down.

(Seriously, he doesnt even put petrol in it now, "cause he gets funny looks".)
