For Sale....My old GSX 250

If you don't want to bang loads of miles on your SV/nice bike, here is a rare opportunity to own a superb example of early 80's Japanese engineering !!!!!!!!!

I have to start disposing of some of my bikes  , this is/was my winter work hack.
GSX250EZ 1983, with full MOT (done today) and 1 month tax. It's in pretty good nick for its age, showing signs of winter on the exhausts and chrome work (they a bit rusty not knackered but.....) It has done 10300 miles, just over 4000 of them by me last year, 5 previous owners (and all of them care-full it would seem)
The engine has always started first touch of the button, and sounds as sweet at idle as it does at 10k rpm. It had a new chain last October, a new battery last June, fork seals and a new rear tyre last month. It is capable of 90 (ish) mph and has been giving around 75-80 mpg on my usage.

I think it is well worth my asking price of £595.00, just need someone to agree now and come and buy it :D :D :D

It's worth a look anyway.

Pm or post on here for more info

Cheers all

Terry

I had one, good bike. Bit heavy for a 250, but holds a reliable 80 on the motorway, way better than the competition: S/Dream, XS250, Z250, more durable and reliable than the stroker equivalents.

I wouldn't touch it with the end of my....oops sorry...this isn't the naked bbq thread! :P
