Why buy any other 650 twin...

When you can get one of these...

I'd have bought one in place of my SV...

Because if you crash them, you need to make new parts yourself? :) OK, not quite that bad, but parts availability can still be sketchy, and they're not cheap to put back together plus, no used bits out there. Mike1234 mentioned that the forks, despite being shiny and impressive looking, aren't very good- he raced one in minitwins.

But still, I'd like one- they're lovely looking machines.

Are they available now? :D

Agree with the Northwind...where will Cagiva be in two years?

And a Grand more than an SV...If it was my money would get a Bandit 12...I think

Yes they're available now. Saw one in my local suzuki/MV augusta dealers and thought it was lovely. Now so sure about the front little nose fairing thingy but a lovely bike anyway. I've not had any problems getting parts for my cagiva BTW.

Are the new ones fuel injected?

Yeah, it's the FI SV engine in them. The older ones were the carbed SV.

I read that they use their own FI, not the Suzuki one- probably just as well since the exhaust system is so different. I don't know if this is actually true though. THey claim a little more power than Suzuki too.
