Nearly gave up again but thought i'd persevere a little more and the lock suddenly slipped open. Won't be using that lock anymore though.. it's locked itself shut again...

Thanks heavens for that...my garden sure needs the water and I'll be buggered to be fined by Thames Water for using a hose :twisted:

Good for my garden that I'm governed by Essex & Suffolk water and have been spraying my hose around quite liberally.
