can some one bullet point the things you are meant to change or do when servicing a bike?

Have you got the handbook? It details it in there. If not you should be able to search for the service schedule on here.

All depends on which service is is beeing done (mileage)

a full service just a list of things that need doing i have the main ones covered i just think I'm missing some so if you can give me a list that would be awesome

Valve clearance check, plugs, air filter, oil+filter,brake fluid,all nuts and bolts checked and tightend if ness!!!!

luke millar was selling one for a tenner(haynes manual) in the sale section on jan 1st... no follow up posts. so it might not have gone

Why not use the manuals of this forum, I think they're great!!
Though they're tucked out of the way for some reason and hard to find on the site. I think a lot of people don't even know they're there... http://www.sv650.org/sv_manuals.htm (there's a periodic servicing one there too, give you all the torque settings and everything!!) |
