Bikeless

For the first time in 6 years I don't have a bike I can ride

Not a permanent state of affairs I hasten to add - but the wheel are off the SV having the rims re-polished & the VFR is awaiting its new battery - even Mrs. Vox's Bandit isn't available 'cos it's on loan to her brother.

Don't know how I'm gonna get through the day - any suggestions ?

Super...the most enjoyable and fulfilling way that you could spend your afternoon, would be to sit in front of the box and watch those beautiful Ducati's take 1 and 2 for the Catalunya race tomorrow. Go on you know it makes sense? :P :P :P

Wakey Wakey Peter !!

You're dreaming again !!

Are you going to the race ?

Hang on - what are you doing here ? I thought you were supposed to be over here borrowing a (decent) bike for the Saaf Goes Norf weekend ?

BTW - I owe you an apology, it appears you were right (GOD, IT HURTS TO SAY THAT !! ) Apparently Yamaha are looking at recruiting Jorge for next year (if they can't entice Casey away from Honda.

Peter Henry 17-06-06 11:22 AM

Super...I think your right, Valentino will make his last ditch run and secure pole I am sure. Ducati struggling for grip on coming out of turns which does not bode well.

No Barcelona or Norf/Sarf thing..long story been working on something and the timing messed everything up.

Jorge I have every confidance will be in big demand next season and a smart move by Yamaha if they bring him on board whilst he can still learn off Rossi?

I have to suggest though that if Jorge does not win the 250 championship this year that will have to be considered a big failure.

BTW:::I have saved your apology to hard disc. :P :P :P

Probably just as well - it AIN'T gonna happen very often !!

Much as I'd hoped that VR & CE together would be the 'Dream Team' (my two fave riders) - I can't help thinking how much fun it would be to see Colin back in WSB fairing bashing with the 2 Troys again (not to mention Toseland, Kagayama & Haga).

Peter Henry 17-06-06 11:46 AM

Yeah I do think Colin has a lot to offer. It has never really worked out for him in Moto GP. But if he does not have the yearning to go stateside to spoil Mladin's party, then maybe WSB would be a great option for him?
