Failed Test :(
 

Grrr how annoying...

Did my bike test today and failed. Was on the last corner, 20seconds away from the test centre, on the last corner and I didnt notice a Cyclist so close and cut him up.

Instant Fail

Other than that I got 4 Minors.

Grrr, im annoyed with myself for misjudging it.

I'm rebooked for the 3rd July tho so hopefully things will go better.

1x Use of Mirrors - Change Direction
1x Use of Mirrors - Change Speed
1x Signals - Correctly

U-Turn was fine, it was the thing i was worrying about at the start of the day but after some practising in the morning felt fine when it came to the test

U Turn's are usually the bugger..

I tried pulling away in 2nd on my test and it stalled, and examiner nearly bounced of my rear tyre!! :wink: ...

With the mirrors, I was recommended to adjust them so I couldn't see in them without moving my head- there's always a risk that you do a wee subtle check and the instructor misses it...

That whole mirrors thing is ridiculous. How can he tell if you are looking in them or not. Besides all I can see in my mirrors are elbows.

The U Turn is also daft, it was a piece of cake on my CB100 but I'd need a dual carriageway to do it now without putting my foot down so if it is so important why isn't my bike illegal?!

On my test he faulted me for doing 40 down a twisty national speed limit road - I'd need to have led down on the tank to go any faster and this was on a wet muddy road with cheapy tyres. What a complete c*ck, why does the law force me to ride a crappy 12bhp bike and then fault me for going too slow DUH!!!

He also faulted me for NOT using a bus lane. My test started about 15 mins before the lane opened to everyone and I didn't have a clock on my bike so how the feck was I supposed to know what time it was and given that using the lane when you shouldn't is illegal and not using it when you can isn't illegal I surely made the sensible choice. He said I would be holding up traffic - WTF?!? On a feckin motorbike?!?! If it hadn't been my test I would have been filtering.
