fitting suzuki oem hugger

As I mentioned in an earlier post, I've won an OEM Suzuki hugger on EBay.

It arrived today, and it looks the part but it came with no instructions, no fittings, no nothing.

So I have two questions:

- What should it have been supplied with?

- More importantly, does anyone know what size/type of bolts I need to do the job? It looks like it just needs four bolts (and washers), and two of those can perhaps be stolen from the original chain guard, but I'm not certain.

Cheers guys, in the meantime I'm going to whine to the seller - that'll learn him

It just uses the same bolts that are used for your brake line guides and chain cover.

It really is the simplest item you'll ever have to fit in your life, except perhaps a new tax disc.

That's good news, Cheers Bill.

Seller has already got back to me and says he'll post out bolts straight away so all looks rosy.

I just used some stainless allen head bolts on mine.

From memory, think they were M4. Couple of washers may be needed to make sure the spacing around the tyre is alright, but tis pretty easy.

Not to tight, mind, you can crack the plastic surrounding it.
..So I'm told.....

I'm not sure if it does (although I have never fitted one), I think the bolts are slightly longer and on another ebay hugger (silver again) that i was looking at it said it didn't have the 4*M8 bolts with it. I don't know this for sure but just going on a post I saw and ebay. hope it helpd.

PS - If it's that silver one and you can't fit it i'll give you a tenner for it :-dd
