polishing.

i'm going to have a go at polishing the foot peg heel plates on my k3 they are cover'd in a silver paint which i want to polish off, anyone ever done this and whats the best way to start?

i did it on mine,started useing 800 wet and dry then 1200 then 1500 then 2000,and finished with polishing compound and a mop :wink:
