Leather alterations

Can anyone recommend a good leather alteration company/person that will alter motorcycle gear?

Preferably close to Uxbridge area but not too fussed as to where if they are really good.

thanx

If there's a Hein Gericke near you, they can often recommend people.

Hence why I said often. If you go to the shop frequently it's got to be worth an ask.

This answer led me to
Nine Lives

I had already been recommended to them by a tailor in Guildford (9 lives used to be in Guildford). I found that any tailor from the yellow pages was not able to work on Motorbike leathers.

When I ripped my leathers (at the knee after a low side) Jonboy recommended Hideout Leathers near Saffron Waldon - got them repaired properly for about £20 or £30 (can't remember exactly as I had them cleaned at the same time) They make their own leathers which always get good results in the tests so you know their repairs are spot on.
