BBQ'd SK1 Stator.......help...

Hi Chaps,
Just opened up my curvy SK1 to see if there was any teeth damage after she ate a starter motor and noticed that part of the Stator looks somewhat BBQ'd...(see image).....is this going to be as expensive as it feels :?:
