On one of the rideouts, we talked briefly about jumpin on the ferry for a long weekend around August time.

Anyone up for it ?

I was plannin to go to Scandinavia in Sept but have had to cancel so now have loads of holidays spare 8)

Think from memory that Ni was up for it, come to think of it, where is that lad, huvnae heard from him in a while

Not just beer....Belgian beer!! Much better than Tennents or McEwans!! Try the Duvel, an 8.5% dark beauty!

Alas no though, I've not much hols left and I'm already doing an overnight run with the boys from work in August.

Were doing a Calmac island hop thru Arran onto Kintyre and round back to Arrochar then home (we did an overnight 600 mile Skye & Highlands trip in torrential rain in June and decided we wouldn't go so far this time!!).

Rest of the weekends in August are booked up with a couple of 30th birthdays coming up.

Might be up for it next year though, Superfast do some deals occasionally where bikes go free.

One thing is for certain ,you have enough time on that crossing to make a good start to getting lashed,sleep,sober and still have a breakfast :lol: What better way to start a holiday
